Testimonials

The experiences of Stabre.com users based on a phone interview.

You're now a customer/user of Stabre.com but was there something that caused you to have doubts about joining us?

Yeah, I had some reservations, I can remember sitting around the table and you guys showed the product to me. I found it difficult to take it all in and to understand what the added value was of Stabre in comparison to other means of finding companies. How much of a difference it will make. What were you guys offering was not something that I was already getting from another supplier?

But because of the simplicity, the demonstration that it is a kind of a Google for companies and that I can create an entire export list, how unbelievably easy that is... and finally cram all that into an Excel file, yeah... amazing!

And that’s the biggest dilemma with other tools. They're a pain to work with. Or that you’re charged €0.30 per company. Per company! So, I said to my customer on Friday, while showing him Stabre, "Tjeerd what we are now doing is worth way more than €2,500". I was looking at him and there was just one big smile. And then straightaway he turned to me and asked, "Gerben have they already gone and dabbled in foreign markets? Are they in Belgium?" [Stabre note: Yep;-)]

Despite initial reservations you still became a customer - how do you view your doubts expressed in your previous answer?

Well, when we use Stabre, we get a different type of data than when using [Other Party]. It’s definitely a positive addition because it opens up a different category of data. And it is that different category that gives it the added value. But actually, it’s an even better addition thanks to its simplicity and speed. Because you deliver the general email addresses and not the private ones, this suits a lot of parties just fine. Thus, a different type of data.

You guys are unbelievably cheap compared to the alternatives but also less deep. This actually allows you to cater to a whole new market. And it is exactly this that gives Stabre added value. That's why you guys are a truly powerful, yet simple addition and I’m really happy to use you as a tool for my customers. Using your engine, I can look for companies to start off with, and then only after the initial contact's been made, go all-in with track & trace, dedicated follow-up and whatnot. That’s when you start dealing with completely different budgets.

If we were to start our sales process this way with other suppliers, just the start-up mind you, that would set us back €3,800 for 6,500 addresses. And at that point we haven't even picked up the phone yet. By starting with Stabre and setting up a general campaign with an unlimited amount of addresses as well as open rates and tracking visitors via a different platform, that’s a magnificent combination. Very powerful.

What's your favourite feature?

What really appeals to me the most is the region and branch filtering. This enables me to cater for every client. Humans are pack animals, so we are a very regionally-bound species. As Stabre allows me to search freely on branch and region, I can serve 90% of my customers. That's one of the first things that really grabbed me when you guys first told me about it. I immediately thought "Bingo, that's it." Most companies are, after all, regionally-bound and you can just serve these, infinitely.

Can you list 3 other benefits?

The quick export to Excel. Excel is such a widely used tool and because of that you can serve up to 99% of the clients with it. Everybody knows how to process Excel in their CRM, so the Export to Excel is crucial. That’s a really vital feature in order to use Stabre as a tool.

And it's ease of use, that it’s intuitive like Google. That you quickly note which words to include and which to exclude, and it does. So, actually, the manner of searching is just like what we’ve learned from using Google and other tools these past 10 years. Intuitive and easy to internalise it. That is very important because that is when people adopt it. Adopting a tool like Stabre in day to day operations, that is really crucial for a sales department.

If you look at other tools, like a Salesforce or others then quite often you have to take a course just to get the best out of it, to actually allow you to try out different things with it. They are really way too complex. Stabre's easy to pick up after a 1 hour onboarding.

Would you recommend this product to somebody else? And if so, why would you be comfortable doing so?

Of course, I would, and not because it is a mature product but more importantly because of the full attention and care you guys offer. If I text you guys, I get a response within 5 minutes. You guys are the ones which personify Stabre. When certain features don't work quite the way I expected your personal attention compensates and complements this. And that is a crucial part. The people behind the product or the service. Can't emphasize enough how vital that is.

Sales Butler, 12 years of in Sales & Marketing experience

You're now a customer/user of Stabre.com but was there something that caused you to have doubts about joining us?

The first thought when I get calls like this is "how can I politely cut this call short". You get inundated with these calls that staying polite is really difficult. But for some reason you triggered something in me. The idea at first seemed to be a dime a dozen, another one trying to sell us data.

Despite that you still became a customer/user - what do you think of your doubts now? What convinced you to try it out?

It was mainly how you guys sold it. You guys excel in getting the message across that I had no choice but to be interested. And your enthusiasm is contagious. Initially, that was your biggest selling point. Of course, everybody says what they have is fantastic, unique. But those who can pitch enthusiastically are few and far between. Most of them are just mouthing off their routine sales pitch but you guys are telling it straight up and have an answer for everything. Actually, you have more answers than there are questions. [Stabre note: we get it, we talk too much: Put it under “enthusiasm”]

What's your favourite feature?

My favourite above all is how beautifully quick it is. The speed at which Stabre returns results. The lack of unnecessary clutter on your screen, which you then have to filter through to find out which way to go next. No, you can continue to refine it, you immediately see when you have entered a correct search query and when you have typed a wrong one, because you straightaway get the wrong results. They are correct, they’re just not the ones you wanted. So, up and at it again and refining some more. I like that it is so direct and it doesn’t give you all that other crap mixed in with your results. That has got to be my absolute favourite thing.

Can you give 3 other benefits?

Well that’s a bit difficult, because the main benefit I just mentioned, all the other ones are kind of derived from this. I suppose because it delivers huge gains in efficiency. Where before you would have to set aside a couple of hours to make a couple of good lists. With Stabre I got that down to anywhere between five to ten minutes. Roll on efficiency!

With other tools, it was a lot more general searching and then trying to dig through to what you wanted. You know how much thrash you get if you just type in search terms in whichever search engine. I said it to you guys in one of our first meetings, the biggest benefit Stabre offers is how you guys work... you have not built a search engine, you've built a find engine. And that is fantastic. Searching more or less gives you an open end-result because you don't know if you will find it or not. That's what the term searching implies. But a find engine... ok you got it - you've found what you wanted. Bingo, you've got your answer.

Lastly, time is precious, time can be spent in many different ways and now you've won extra time that can be spent on other things. All because you can execute the searches that much quicker. There you go. Over and out.

Would you recommend this product to somebody else? And if so, why would why?

Yep, to everybody except my competitors that is, hahaha. I've no hesitations because it does what it says. You guys claim that you can create a file that almost 100% matches that what you are searching for in a much quicker and more efficient way. And you aren’t lying. If you tell that to someone else, well… naturally, they won't believe you at first, just like I didn't initially - then it is fantastic to be able to demonstrate it to them. I feel completely at ease recommending you guys because I just have faith in the product.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

No, nothing else to add. I would take this as a compliment when I tell you guys that you've just introduced a great new way of working, wow, that just knocks your socks off. [Stabre: Ha, still something to add after all;-)]

REP, Entrepreneur for 23 years

Was there any particular reason that almost stopped you from becoming a customer?

Yes, most definitely, the maturity of the product. Because it’s quite a young product and just out on the market. Chances are there's little value yet. You're taking it in good faith. But I soon found out that it's quick to evolve. I kind of base my purchasing decision on the faith in the developers, you guys, the founders.

What is your favourite feature or attribute of Stabre.com?

My favourite feature has to be its speed and ease of use. I search and get a list of companies straightaway. This afternoon, I asked my colleague to look for all installation firms in a radius of 60 km around Meidrecht. Then within 5 seconds he typed in the search query and I have 740 installation companies. I don't have to click anything else, run through all the companies and then make the selection myself. That is quite often the issue with other data platforms. The work you have to put in after you get the data.

Can you give 3 other benefits?

The mirroring! Quickly finding comparable companies. And not to forget the time savings are huge, how quickly you can move on to prospecting and sourcing new companies. That when considering speed it is equal to Google. And the platform's flexibility, which allows you to mix and mash a bitin your own way. It is not as rigid as the others and you don't have to keep ticking everything until you have maybe found what you wanted.

At [Other Product], they use predefined industries with which you can make selections. That works fine for some projects. However when I want mortgage advisers or real estate agents, that’s when you start to get into trouble. If I just want 200 real estate agents, then it is quite difficult to filter them from the bulk of the bunch. Because, they can be found under "commercial property activities" or under "commercial service provision" or under... well you get the drift. They are very difficult to separate as a group. Whatever you try, you will always get 600 companies that dabble in other kinds of commercial services. And once again you are back to manually filtering them out to get what you want. Tedious work.

Would you recommend Stabre.com to others?

Definitely, I've been doing nothing else. Did you not know? ;-)

Anything you’d like to add?

That the data is clean. That's been my experience so far.

Winfactor, more than 14 years of experience in sales and callcentres.

You're now a customer/user of Stabre.com but was there something that caused you to have doubts about joining us?

My issue was: am I going to notice a difference in the output between Stabre and our other partners? I mean, in my experience, this really depends on what the customer wants. When a customer is looking for a specific selection then I can definitely recommend Stabre. I recently looked for a list of all Bosch Car Service companies in the Netherlands. This was easy to find using Stabre, I would never have been able to find these companies before Stabre.

Conversely, we now have a new customer dealing in storage boxes and we needed to find logistics companies. Well, your platform was built for this. Stabre made it so easy. I just search for "shotgun| logistics transport" and hey presto, I get a whole list as easy as you like.

Despite that you still became a customer - how do you view your doubts expressed in your previous answer? What convinced you to try it out?

Well one of the biggest benefits is that we no longer get any generic data. We have a number of customers that are very active on line. You guys can read on line software packages and then we can, for example, use this to our advantage with competitors.

It is also really vital for us to know which technologies a company runs, say whether it is Magento, Woocomerce or Hubspot. This means we can compile proper lists because we van filter based on these things, along with the other criteria.

What's your favourite feature?

I think you know what I am going to say if you look at the previous answer 😊. That I'm able to search for the technology behind the website. [Stabre.com note: we also add custom technologies for customers, email/call us to find out what the options are if the one(s) you're looking for isn't supported at the moment]

Can you give 3 other benefits?

Searching public data, which is in accordance with the GDPR. Also, that we can narrow down our search with great specificity based on certain words in a website. And the speed.

Would you recommend this product to somebody else? And if so, why are you alright with this?

Yep, I would definitely recommend to sales and marketing people who are creative. You have to stop and think about what you really want to find. If you go about this in a creative way then you can find highly valuable company lists. For the not so creative minded, I would recommend a system with a lot of preconfigured dropdowns and checkboxes.

So yeah, I would recommend it to people who are creative with lead generation, who... well, that's the criteria. I would definitely recommend it to people cut from that cloth.

Project Manager at Saleshelden

You're now a Stabre.com client but was there something that caused you to have doubts about joining us?

Yeah, we first thought, oh, no... "not another one", pitching their great new tool to generate leads. There are loads out there claiming that. But then I started listening to you guys and I thought, this "does not sound bad at all" quickly followed by "this is too good to be true".

Despite your doubts you became a customer. How do you look back on those doubts now?

I think it’s like I already said - I have an affinity with IT and I get your vision. I just really want it to be a success. And because of that video call/webinar or whatever you want to call it, we forged an understanding. I hardly ever communicate like that with other suppliers. Because I know where you are coming from and I believe in the concept. Also because, I want Stabre to succeed.

They’re the reasons for doing something, why you get a gut feeling, and then you just go for it. And I always put myself in the other person's shoes and then I think wow what if I had a product that is so out there and I know there's nothing like it on the market. Then I imagine it would be really cool to have pilot customers to which I can roll out my product and develop it further together.

What's your favourite feature?

Well then, I would have to say, despite the fact I was messing around with the codes [Stabre note: the tags that were then still sent via e-mail;-)] I really appreciate the fact that you can get an export in Excel really quick. That speed of working is really great.

Can you give 3 other benefits?

Let's see. In principle what I said earlier; the fact that it is lean and mean. I just love simplicity, that really appeals to me. No complex things. You can make the selections yourself and the export along with it, that really gets me going and that is what I expected of it.

Also, the fact that you have unlimited access, I just love that because I hate when you have to pay per export or per record or per thing, you know what I'm saying. Very annoying.

I just find it really cool. I'm having fun with Stabre because I can think out-of-the-box. I am already an out-of-the-box type entrepreneur and my mind just keeps churning out amazing ideas, outputs, solutions, you name it. The freedom of search that Stabre allows me, the unrestrictiveness, that is the real benefit.

Let me give you example; my girlfriend is a partner in an advertising agency and she told that they were: “looking for a new graphic designer” .

And, I thought “Well great, cool, and how would you go about that?”. She said: “Yeah, well there is a recruitment club in our building, a co-working space, and they have one of those business accounts, so it is no problem for them to search on LinkedIn”. And then I thought, “hang on a second, what if I try that tool from Stan to see if I can find designers?”

So, guess what?; I typed in "freelance graphic designer" because I thought: I only want freelancers who include skills on their CV. Then I started experimenting, adding "CV" and "illustrator" as well as "graphic designer. This allowed me to compile a number of lists, which I sent to her. And directly afterwards, I sent you guys the feedback of deduplicating several lists automatically;)

Would you recommend this product? And if so, why would you be comfortable doing so?

Definitely, in fact I already have! I am completely at ease with that because of the goodwill factor and the confidence I have in Stabre. We are on the same wavelength, so I feel like if I ask you guys something, if I make a suggestion, you will know what I mean. You will get it straightaway. If I say, hey guys, "we could do this the other way around", if I give you a database with address details, maybe you can enrich this once again with your database. Technically that's feasible - it's just a question of matching. Doing this like this for each other, that’s when I truly believe a product is really good.

My domain is IT, sales and marketing. So, if I say this product is really good and it doesn't turn out to be, well I can forget about doing any business with that person - I am no longer credible. So, yeah, I have to be convinced because I am putting my reputation in your hands. My reputation is on the line the moment I recommend Stabre.com!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I hope that with your experience, you continue to focus on the customer, giving them and the product the attention they deserve. [Stabre note: no worries there :D]
